“What has struck me the most about the firm is how instantaneously I recognized the quality of the people around me. In this environment, it is easy for me to approach my craft with a keenness for excellence and a sincere appreciation for the trust and well-being of our clients.” During his tenure at Boston University School of Law, Jeff served as an Executive Editor for the Review of Banking and Financial Law. His student note, Somewhere Under the Rainbow: The Journey Toward Charitable Property Tax Exemption Solutions, addressed a topic of significant controversy within the nonprofit sector and was selected for publication. The article analyzed the property tax repercussions of the commonly perceived trend of convergence of the business models of many nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Jeff worked at the Washington D.C. administrative headquarters of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the Office of General Counsel while completing his law degree, assisting the litigation group in preparing for hearings and depositions in FINRA member disputes.
