His student note, Somewhere Under the Rainbow: The Journey Toward Charitable Property Tax Exemption Solutions, addressed a topic of significant controversy within the nonprofit sector and was selected for publication. The article analyzed the property tax repercussions of the commonly perceived trend of convergence of the business models of many nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Jeff worked at the Washington D.C. administrative headquarters of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the Office of General Counsel while completing his law degree, assisting the litigation group in preparing for hearings and depositions in FINRA member disputes. Jeff was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. He currently resides in downtown Portland, where he remains a passionate advocate for Denver sports teams and the western lifestyle.
