Tom’s litigation practice focuses on civil trial and appellate litigation with an emphasis on complex litigation, products liability, and the defense of professional negligence and personal injury claims. He has handled a broad range of sophisticated cases, ranging from large medical malpractice suits to shareholder disputes to significant products liability cases to construction contract contests. Tom has also tried several real estate disputes involving land ownership issues and purchase-and-sale-contract issues.

Tom has provided extensive litigation advice and trial representation to major national and international companies for many years. In this capacity, he has handled significant cases involving antitrust claims, commercial fraud, contract disputes, business torts, and other matters covering a wide variety of his clients' litigation and trial needs. Tom is also lead counsel representing a major out of state medical research institute defending against multiple, complicated medical professional liability claims.

An experienced trial attorney, Tom has defended and won cases in state and federal courts in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. He is also licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Illinois, and represents clients throughout New England in both federal and state courts.

Tom lives with his family in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
